as a psychologist

Foundational skills are essential components that will support your core competencies of iCAREcommunity. Based on studies and professional workgroups, we have identified six clusters of foundational skills that you should continuously hone as a psychologist.

The six clusters of foundational skills cut across all core competencies. Each is considered of equal importance, basic to the development of intervention skills from the beginner to expert level, and overlapping rather than independent.
